Oh, What Fun Christmas in July

When the Holidays roll around, I always hear Christmas music before it gets near the Holiday.  The people in my classes have always requested we start a Christmas card in August  as one of the three designs we make month. Making a design a month till December,  gives them a good start on getting our cards made and ready for mailing.

Birthday Card with Birthday Framelit

I have a really easy card for you today. I am using the Petal Garden Designer Paper stack. The paper itself can stand alone, it’s so beautiful! You don’t need much else. I didn’t even stamp this card. I cut out the Birthday saying with our Birthday framelits and attached it to the card. A simple bow and a few enamel shapes and your card is done. Easy peasy. This paper stack can be the base of so many cards. I highly recommend it.

A Little Wild Circus Card

I have been invited to a Birthday party for a special one year old.  He is having a circus themed party.  How fun is that?  So my mind immediately went to the cute A Little Wild bundle set that I ordered out of our new annual catalog.  They have the cutest animals.  It includes this cute lion, a darling elephant and a sweet little bear with a honey bee, beehive, flowers and comes with a matching framelit that cuts the animals out front and back to make a cute tag. We will be making two cute cards and two cute 3D projects. We are using the This Little Piggy stamp set, July Paper Pumpkin, Coffee Cafe’ and the wood crate from Wood Crate Framelits.  I have a Thanks a Latte tip holder or gift card holder and a Christmas sled to hold your Holiday goodies.  I had to throw in a little Christmas in July! 🙂
