Light in the Sky

We have two more weeks.  In my house that means I am starting to decorate for the 4th of July.  Out come the flags and anything red, white & blue.
I ordered the Light in the Sky stamps.  I love all the fireworks and sayings and the dies are great too. I started with a piece of Azure Afternoon cardstock and cut it 5-1/2″ X 8-1/4″ and scored it at 4-1/4″.
Then I cut a piece of Real Red cardstock 4″ X 5-1/4″ and glued it to the card base.
Next I cut a piece of White cardstock 3-3/4″ X 5″.
I stamped the fireworks in Azure Afternoon and Real Red ink. Stamp the fireworks anyway you want, or follow what I did.
Glue the piece to the red cardstock.
I added rhinestones to the center of the fireworks for extra sparkle.  I first tried Wink of Stella, but wouldn’t recommend it.  Mine started to smear.  Or at least let the ink dry real well before you apply it.
Next, I stamped the saying in Real Red ink on white scrap and cut it out with the Unbounded Love Dies.  These dies have great shapes for all kinds of sayings.  You have seen me use the stamp set before.
I also cut a piece of real red cardstock with the next size die.  I glued them together and used Dimensionals to pop it up on the card.
I added some rhinestones to the saying too.

Hooray for Honeycomb Kit & Alternatives

I’m excited to present the Hooray for Honeycomb Kit, item #163882, available for $18.00. This kit features delightful honeycomb shapes that you can incorporate into your cards. It’s designed for convenience, requiring no stamping, and comes with all the necessary adhesives for assembly. To give you a better idea of the kit’s potential, I’ve created a video demonstrating how you can enhance it with just a few stamps and ink.

New Sale-a-Bration Cradled in Love Stamps Sneak Peek

sn’t this set adorable?  I don’t have many baby stamps, and needed one this year.  This is perfect timing.
I earned this set free with a $50- order. It’s on page 7 of your SAB catalog. Item#162956.

You can build the cradle and add the mobile and rug.  There are nice sayings and fonts and the baby bottle and elephant can make a good background stamp, like I did in the blue version, or inside the card.
For the pink card, I used a piece of the new Lighter than Air designer paper that is in our new Mini catalog.  #162747. I put it on top of Fresh Fresia Cardstock. I used my Fresh Fresia Blend markers to color the blanket and rug and the pad in the cradle.  I stamped the cradle in Wild Wheat and colored it in with Light Crumb Cake.

For the blue card, I used a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and stamped the elephants in Boho Blue ink.I stamped the rug in Boho Blue and colored it with my Balmy Blue Blend marker. I used Lemon Lolly for the star and moon in the mobile for both cards and added a little Wink of Stella. The fish are the same color as the cards.

I stamped and cut the Welcome in Black Memento ink.  I cut a piece of background color 1/8″ larger than the saying and glued them together.  Then I added it to the card with mini dimensionals.
I stamped the cradle on a piece of white  cardstock and cut it out using the Scalloped Contour Dies # 155560.
Lastly, I added the Rainbow adhesive-Backed Dots #162758 from the new Mini catalog on page 33.
I know I will be using this set alot for those special moments.
