I created a class for you for November using the Don’t Stop Believin’ Stamps # 153332. This set is adorable and really captures the cuteness of Christmas. You will make three different card designs and one treat box. This box is special because it will include the Snowman Soup poem. Just get the ingredients to fill the box and you have an instant gift for neighbors, teachers, family or use it as a place setting at your table. I think this year my postman, garbage, re-cycle men, takeout servers etc. will also get one. It’s a nice way to put a smile on their faces and spread good will and cheer during the Holidays, when things can get stressful or lonely. If you haven’t heard of Snowman Soup, it has a poem that includes a hot cocoa pack, mini marshmallows, a peppermint stick for stirring and I throw in a couple chocolate candies too. I got most of the supplies at the Dollar store. The mini packs of marshmallows was bought at Walmart. You will get the poem once you have placed your order along with an e-mail with pdf tutorials for each card and the box.
I am in Christmas mode this week. I have been busy creating a cute Christmas gift box using our pre-made Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes #153069. All you do is assemble. I know at Christmas we are always short on time and look towards convenience. I am using the Warm & Toasty stamps#152615 to make this fast and easy gift box. It measures 5-7/8″ X 3-3/4″ X 1″. I had some friends that gave me little gifts before I left, so I needed to make some thank you notes. I immediately reached for my Coming Home bundle #155144. I had not cracked it open yet, but I wanted to give them a new Home/Fall card. So I came up with this one. We have a red Mini Cooper and even though the car is not a Cooper, it’s close enough. You can easily take this layout and make it a Christmas card with a few minor changes. I love this bundle. It is so versatile. It’s great for new home, Christmas, Fall, Halloween, Realtors, etc. For all the supplies and directions read on. You can see I used a few more stamp sets and dies to complete this card.
Crisp air calls for a hot coffee. Don’t like coffee, I found a Chai Pumpkin Spice Black tea K-cup on Amazon. Have you also noticed Pumpkin Spice everything? I have seen so many recipes and of course Pumpkin Spice coffee. I think Starbuck’s came out with theirs early this year. I love the taste of pumpkin, but they can get a little pricey. So I have found Pumpkin Spice coffee pods. I think I got them at Target. They are delicious. I came up with a small box that fits the pods perfectly and I don’t have to make the box. A few snips of the Plaid Tidings designer paper and stamps from the Have a Hoot and Warm Hugs and you have the perfect gift for Halloween or Thanksgiving. For my card today, I will be using one of my favorite bundles from the Mini Holiday catalog. On page 48 you will find the Autumn goodness Bundle. I love every stamp in this set and the matching dies makes cards so easily. It has a bunch of wheat, pumpkins and apples, flowers a wheelbarrow and beautiful sayings. The dies even include an adorable fence. I have another card later, I will show you using the fence. I am using some of the warm colors from the Plaid Tidings designer paper pack and chose Pumpkin Pie and Cinnamon Cider for my border colors.
