Hold on to Hope – Christening card

I wanted to make a Christening card for my Nephew’s recent little girl, so I pulled out my Hold on to Hope bundle.  I used this set at Easter for beautiful cards and now I am reaching for it again for a Christening.  The sentiments are so beautiful.  I only needed the stamps for this card.  The set does have matching framelits that easily cuts the flowers and crosses, but I chose to keep this little gift card simple. I started off with stamping the beautiful flower branch over the a piece of Whisper White to create a beautiful background.  Then I used my Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment right over the background.  The inside of the card was kept simple with just the word YOU stamped on the inside.  It’s simple and to the point.  This set is on our retiring list, but will return separately in the new catalog that will be released on June 1st.  What that means is that right now you can still save 10% on the bundle in our current catalog.  The new catalog will separate them and you will pay more.

Unicorn Tag Magical Day

My Nephew’s little one just turned 2 and I wanted to give her some fun birthday gifts like bubbles, painting a stained glass kit and a cute tea set.  I ran to the Dollar store for a gift bag and found this adorable unicorn bag.  What little girl doesn’t like unicorns?  I immediately knew what bundle I was going to use for her tag.  The Magical Day bundle #145985.  It’s so sad it is retiring.  If you can still get it, add it to your collection.  I have barely put this stamp set and matching framelits away.  It’s so versatile with the Knight, Dragon, Mermaid and Wizard. The sparkly washi tape is retiring too called Myths & Magic Washi Tape.
That just about covers all of my Nephew’s children. Oh did I mention, he just had number 7 arrive?  Another girl.  That makes six girls and one boy.  We are going to her Christening later today, so I will have another post for you soon with her Christening card.
With the retiring list up and going, I know this set will not last long.  It was a stamp set that always made me smile.  I hope you enjoy it too.

Daisy Card

When we walk in the mornings, we are seeing so many beautiful flowers.  It’s no wonder I gravitated towards the Daisy Delight bundle.  I cased this card off the web and colored my daisies using my blender pen and the Daffodil Delight on the petals.  [Read more…] about Daisy Card
