Last week I showed you some alternatives to the Add On Kit for Paper Pumpkin. Well, I have more ideas for you today. I am really enjoying this set and haven’t even gotten to my kit yet. So more to come. If you remember these were the cards in the kit. Well after noticing the beautiful colored backs to these cards, I started to think, why not cut them off and use them as an extra layer behind the scene? Here is what I did. Take a look.
See how I cut off the back and used it as a layer to frame the picture? I glued this on to the front of a thick white card base. Then I took out some of my stamp sets, including the one in my Paper Pumpkin kit and made a few Father’s Day cards and Birthday cards. I am always looking for nice masculine cards and these seemed perfect. Here are the stamps I used.
We have had an early Spring here in N.C. Along with that came a lot of rain, which had our daffodils and tulips blooming early. It made me think of the Playing in the Rain suite on page 51 of our Mini Catalog. I used the Playing in the Rain bundle#160551 to cut out the cute bunny and fox with the matching dies. I had to fussy cut the cute pig that comes in the designer paper, Rain or Shine #160540. The pig was what made me order the paper. I love him! I used the designer paper for the treat bags. They come together so easily, with hardly any stamping. My saying came from the Hello Ladybug Stamps #157693 and fit perfectly in the Conversation Bubbles Dies#160636. I purchased the dies, because so many sayings can fit in the bubbles. I added a Reeses mini egg for a quick treat. You can see the supply list and instructions, read more..
I have another fun fold card for you today using the Playing in the Rain Suite. Have you see the Designer paper? It has different raindrops and beautiful glossy animals you can cut out. Actually one side is glossy and the back side is not. It has so much versitiltiy. The dies that come in the bundle cut out some of the animals to make it even easier! The front of the card was made out of Designer paper, including the fox. I stamped the back of the card using the rectangle stitched dies. Read more for Instructions and Supplies.

I have a fun fold card for you today. I am using the Playing in the Rain bundle and will use the embossing folder from that sweet. I will show you how to make your embossed part pop. I am also using some of the Free Sale-a-Bration paper I earned before Sale-a-Bration ended. If you were able to earn some, great, if not, use any paper you want and coordinate the colors from your paper. That’s what I do. Which ever way you do it, the card layout is the same.
Remember when you saved rainy day money for those special times? Well I have a simple pouch for you to give to someone for those rainy days. I am using the Playing in the Rain stamps to make this extra special.
Today I have a quick, easy and clean card for you to make. I was surprised to see on my calendar that we are coming up on our son’s 1st anniversary already. With our move only a few days away, I thought I better send it early, so I don’t forget. Where does the time go? I decided to keep this card simple and clean. That means no embellishments, ribbons or dimensionals. Just a clean card that focuses on our sentiment and love. I also took some of the designer paper and glued it to the flap of the envelope to make it extra special. Read more for Instructions & Supplies.
