Hi Stampers, Looking for a quick Easter treat this weekend?  I have just the thing.  A cute Easter basket filled with cute chicks and eggs made with our Easter Friends stamp set. I made a video, so you can follow along step by step.  Enjoy!

I have had quite a few friends and family in need of get-well cards, due to surgeries.  
There is always a go to stamp set I think of when I make these kind of cards and that’s Back on Your Feet #149385.  It has just the right sayings and pictures that are sure to make your recipient smile.  
I made today’s card with a little ribbon trick, I wanted to share with all of you.
I used the white 3/8″ Glittered Organdy ribbon #156408, that I am happy to say will be in our new Annual Catalog.  I just received my catalog and was happy to see it return.  You can do so many things with it, including coloring it.  
I used my Flirty Flamingo Blend marker with the brush end and glided it along the ribbon to color it. Do it several times if you want it darker. 
Then I took my paper snips and cut the ribbon in half and glued it to the middle of the white ribbon.  
I also colored a small piece for the end of my saying tag.  I used Granny Apple Green Blend marker for that.  It gave the card just the right amount of sparkle.

This cute set is going to retire, but you can still get it now. Since it is on the Last Chance list, I wouldn’t wait.  Products are as supplies last.
I will still be using this set, long after it retires.  I absolutely love it!

With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, I love putting together a cute treat.  I really don’t send out cards, but a treat is always fun.
I was in Target yesterday and found these cute rainbow cookies.  I immediately thought of our Rainbow of Happiness Bundle # 157727, on page 18 of our Mini catalog, I made an easy and quick box and put on some of the Sale-a-Bration Rainbow paper, I still had left. Now you don’t have to use this paper, you can use any paper you have.  I did use the paper to decorate most of the box, but you can easily stamp and die cut the rainbow and get the same effect. 
I used A Wish for Everything for my sentiment.  
For the pot of gold, I used my ladybug punch and just punched the body.  It makes a perfect cauldron.  The gold in the pot was punched from the ice cream cone builder punch.#154241. Again I used some older Sale-a-bration paper called Be Dazzling.  I cut off one of the scoops and put it on the side.  It worked pretty good.  I love when our punches work for different shapes than what was intended.

Instructions: Cut Bermuda Bay cardstock 6″ X 11″.
Score long side 1/2″, 4-1/4″, 5-3/4″, 9-1/2″.
Turn and score on the 6″ side at 3/4″ 4-1/2″.
Cut 1/2″ side ends off and miter the center piece that is left.
Turn to the larger bottom piece and cut up on the tabs. Miter the tabs.
Put glue on the 1/2″ side and fold box together.
Add seal to the 1/2″ piece and fold down inside the box.
Add seal to the tabs and pull up to form the box.
Add 2 pcs. of designer paper cut 3-1/2″ X 3-1/2″ and adhere to the front and back of box.
Cut 2 pcs. of designer paper 1-1/4″ X 3-1/2″ and use seal to attach to the sides of the box.
Die cut the second largest scalloped rectangle using white cardstock.
Stamp or cut a rainbow and adhere to the rectangle.
Cut a cloud or punch one out if you have the cloud punch. Adhere to the side of the rainbow with dimensionals.
Punch a black piece from the ladybug die for the pot.
Punch the gold using the ice cream punch. Cut one of the pieces and add to the other side with glue dots. Add to the back of the pot with glue dots.
Add the pot to the right side of the rainbow with dimensionals.
Cut a white piece 1/2″ X 3-1/2″ and stamp sentiment using black memento ink.
Cut a Bermuda Bay piece 1-3/4″ X 3-3/4″ and use seal to adhere to white piece.
Cut a piece of So Saffron 2″ X 4-1/2″ and score at 1″. Adhere the saying to the front of the topper with seal.
Use Tear & Tape to each side of the bag topper and put over the cookie bag.
Add cookie to the box.

I decided to make a cheerful birthday card and grabbed for the Hello Ladybug Bundle right away.
This bundle makes such cute cards. I always smile when I see these cards.  I hope the birthday girl enjoys it.

I love how black and red goes together.
I used our Pattern Party Designer paper that you card earn for free as a Host reward.  No, you don’t have to host a party to get it, just place an order or grab a friend and put an order in together.  Qualify for the Host rewards and get this amazing pack of designer paper.  You get 48 sheets of 12 X 12 paper.  It’s valued at $30, but only uses 18 of your host rewards.  If your order is a little under the $180- amount,( earns you $18- in rewards),  Stampin’ Up! usually lets you still get it and pay the difference if it’s only a few dollars. You can see the paper in our annual catalog on page 171.  Don’t miss it.  It’s a great stack.  You have pretty patterns on one side and black and white patterns on the back.  The black and white offers you the choice to leave it as is or color it with your markers, or colored pencils.  So much versatility is offered in this pack.

Instructions:
Cut red cardstock 4-1/4″ X 11″ and score at 5-1/2″.
Cut white piece 4″ X 5-1/4″.
Cut designer piece 1-1/2″ X 5-1/4″ and use seal to adhere to the card.
Stamp flowers in real red at the top of the card. Stamp Black Memento ink for the dots.
Wrap a piece of the ribbon around to the back and secure with seal. Add a glue dot under the center of the ribbon to stay in place.
Tie a bow and add to the ribbon with a glue dot.
Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the card in black memento ink.
On a piece of basic white, stamp the leaf in Garden Green ink and cut out with paper snips.
Stamp the ladybug on white cardstock with real red ink. Punch out with coordinating punch.
Stamp the wings in real red ink on white cardstock and punch out with punch.
Adhere the wings with glue dots.
Add the leaf with dimensionals.
Add the ladybug with glue dots on the leaf and a dimensional under the part off the leaf.

I have an adorable baby card for you using Easter Friends and Celebrating You.  
Easter Friends is not just for Easter. You can use these cute ducks and chicks for any Spring, Baby or Easter occasion. They are adorable and will send joy to that person who gets a special card.

Instructions: Cut thick white cardstock 5-1/2″ X 8-1/2″ and score at 4-1/4″.
Cut designer paper 4″ X 5-1/4″ and glue to the card base.
Cut Balmy blue 3″ X 3″ and 1-1/8″ X 2-3/4″.
Cut white piece 2-5/8″ X 2-1/2″. Emboss with the square Whimsy die.
Stamp the duck with Black Memento ink and color with a Light Daffodil Delight Blend marker and the bill and feet with light Pumpkin Pie marker.
Glue white to Balmy Blue piece. Attach with dimensionals to the middle right of the card.
Cut another white piece 7/8″ X 2-5/8″.
Stamp the saying from Celebrating You on white cardstock with Black Memento ink. Glue to the Balmy Blue piece and attach to the card with dimensionals.
Add the resin dots to the card as shown in the picture.

This week we had sad news about the loss of a friend’s family member.  These times call for a simple card, so you can express your sympathy and support.
I put this card together using three stamp sets.  The purpose is to show you how you can mix your stamps to come up with a unique card.  
I started with Very Vanilla cardstock and embossed the front with the Painted Texture embossing folder. 
I used the Painted Poppy for the flower and the saying on the outside of the card is from Color & Contour.  I masked off the now in Here for you now.  The inside saying is from Celebrating You.  I used You’re on my mind and in my heart. There are some really nice sentiments in that set. 

Instructions: Cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock 5-1/2″ X 8-1/2″ and score at 4-1/4″ with your paper trimmer.
Emboss the front with the Painted Texture folder.
Take another piece of Very Vanilla and cut out the largest rectangle from the dies.
Stamp the flower in Gray Granite ink.
Color flower with light and dark Poppy Parade Blend markers. Color the leaves in light Old Olive.
Stamp the background stamp in Gray Granite ink and stamp off once then stamp on the card.
Stamp the saying from the Color & Contour stamps and don’t ink the now. Just the Here for you.
Attach to the card with dimensionals.
Stamp the saying ” You’re on my Mind and in my Heart from the Celebrating You stamp set in Gray Granite ink, inside the card.
