Reach for the Stars

Hi Stampers,
I saw this box made with other designer paper, but it included mini moon pies.  When I saw that, I knew I would make it with our new Reach for the Stars bundle and the Stargazing designer paper.  I got the mini moon pies at Walmart.  You can also get them at your Dollar Tree.  Mine was out, so I went to Walmart.
Don’t forget you can get this Designer paper on sale in June with a 15% discount.  We will also have a 1 day free shipping on Wednesday, June 21st, so you can even save more!

Four Mini Moon Pies fit in this box.  Of course you can put anything you like, but I thought this went along with the theme of the box. If you have space lovers, this stamp bundle is just what you need.  The paper is amazing too, with starts, space and planets.  I love it all.  I cut the planet on the right from the paper as well as the background piece for my saying on the top.  I stamped the astronaut in black memento ink and colored him with Light Starry Sky and Light Smokey Slate Blend markers.
I popped up the astronaut and planets with dimensionals.
It’s really easy to make with only a few scores and cuts.

Add On Kit for Paper Pumpkin

Last week I showed you some alternatives to the Add On Kit for Paper Pumpkin.  Well, I have more ideas for you today.  I am really enjoying this set and haven’t even gotten to my kit yet.  So more to come.
If you remember these were the cards in the kit.  Well after noticing the beautiful colored backs to these cards, I started to think, why not cut them off and use them as an extra layer behind the scene?  Here is what I did.  Take a look.

See how I cut off the back and used it as a layer to frame the picture?  I glued this on to the front of a thick white card base.
Then I took out some of my stamp sets, including the one in my Paper Pumpkin kit and made a few Father’s Day cards and Birthday cards. I am always looking for nice masculine cards and these seemed perfect.  Here are the stamps I used.

Playing in the Rain Treat Bags

Hi Stampers,

We have had an early Spring here in N.C.  Along with that came a lot of rain, which had our daffodils and tulips blooming early.
It made me think of the Playing in the Rain suite on page 51 of our Mini Catalog.  I used the Playing in the Rain bundle#160551 to cut out the cute bunny and fox with the matching dies.
I had to fussy cut the cute pig that comes in the designer paper, Rain or Shine #160540.  The pig was what made me order the paper.  I love him! I used the designer paper for the treat bags.  They come together so easily, with hardly any stamping.  My saying came from the Hello Ladybug Stamps #157693 and fit perfectly in the Conversation Bubbles Dies#160636.  I purchased the dies, because so many sayings can fit in the bubbles.
I added a Reeses mini egg for a quick treat.  You can see the supply list and instructions, read more..

Playing in the Rain Fun Fold Fox

I have another fun fold card for you today using the Playing in the Rain Suite.
Have you see the Designer paper?  It has different raindrops and beautiful glossy animals you can cut out.  Actually one side is glossy and the back side is not.  It has so much versitiltiy. The dies that come in the bundle cut out some of the animals to make it even easier!  The front of the card was made out of Designer paper, including the fox.  I stamped the back of the card using the rectangle stitched dies. Read more for Instructions and Supplies.
