Today I have used the Host set Better Places # 155858, to create a card that takes you to back to Nature. This Host set is only available with a $150- order. It has beautiful mountains and trees and even a flowing  stream.  The sentiments are beautiful too.  Actually you can use this card for a man or a woman.  It’s very neutral and that lends itself to any sentiment.

With all the excitement over the new Annual catalog, I wanted to remind you that the Mini catalog is still good through June.  Matter of fact, the stamp set I chose today is from the Mini catalog.  
It’s called, “A Cut Above”.  It’s a really cute, manly set.  It shows a man relaxing in a hammock and another cutting grass.  There are great sentiments including Happy Birthday and Happy Father’s Day.
I am using the new Ombre’ Gift bags to make a gift card holder.  These are really quick and easy to make.
I have also included two card ideas to use with this set.

You have all been on my mind lately.  I have been ordering new catalogs for you and hopefully will have them this week.  I can’t wait to mail them to you.

Along with that, I was able to order some of the new products coming in our new Annual catalog.  One of the perks for being a Demonstrator is to order the products early.  I will also be attending Stampin’ Up!’s On Tour virtually this Saturday.  This event is where I will see other Demonstrators in my area and watch deomonstrations of some of the new products to get inspired.  I love that perk too.  If you have been thinking about joining our family or coming back to the Team FUNatics!, just let me know.  I would be happy to help.

We welcomed in Spring with sun and warmer weather. I am amazed at how fast the trees and plants are budding up again.  It’s causing my allergies to go crazy, but it’s so nice to see blue skies and the newness only Spring brings.
We only have a little over 2 weeks till Easter.  I know right?  It’s coming fast.

I have a fun video for you today.  I’ll show you the new Butterfly Brilliance Bundle early release and how you can design lots of cards with the Brilliant Wings Dies and the Butterfly Bijou Designer paper. This exclusive release is available now until May 3rd.  It’s amazing!  Please note that the stamp set is one big background stamp and there is one large die that cuts out 6 butterflies at one time.  The stamps do not come with any sayings, but I will show you what I used.

I see St. Patty’s Day is coming next week.  Even if you are not Irish, it is always fun to tell your friends and family how lucky you are to know them and have them in your life.
I have designed a card today to do just that.  
I am using the new Oval Occasions Bundle # 156261, on page 65 of our mini Jan-June catalog, with stamps and matching punch.  It’s perfect for this card and I love the sentiment and font.
I will use this again for a cute Easter treat.  It also has lots of sentiments for birthdays, to welcome a new baby, for celebrating, thanking someone for their kindness and has tiny stars,  hearts and flowers.  It’s a great set that will work for multiple occasions.

I have started buying plants for my garden.  Yes even in the dessert, I can grow roses and gardenias.  While I was at the nursery, I noticed all the beautiful succulents and cactus.  
So when I got home, I took out my Simply Succulents Bundle and started creating.  I love the set comes with several succulent plants, a flower pot, some beautiful expressions and dies to cut out sayings and the flowers and pot.  It also has a full size background die.  I have been practicing with my Blend Markers and some blending brushes and am so happy it is so easy. It’s so calming to color. Our Blend markers make this look so easy and impressive. I also will show you a Slide & Lock card that is a cool technique along with using the nice background die to make a stencil and some cool effects for different cards.  I think you will love it.
