Last week I showed you some alternatives to the Add On Kit for Paper Pumpkin. Well, I have more ideas for you today. I am really enjoying this set and haven’t even gotten to my kit yet. So more to come.
If you remember these were the cards in the kit. Well after noticing the beautiful colored backs to these cards, I started to think, why not cut them off and use them as an extra layer behind the scene? Here is what I did. Take a look.
See how I cut off the back and used it as a layer to frame the picture? I glued this on to the front of a thick white card base.
Then I took out some of my stamp sets, including the one in my Paper Pumpkin kit and made a few Father’s Day cards and Birthday cards. I am always looking for nice masculine cards and these seemed perfect. Here are the stamps I used.
Remember you can always use some of the stamp sets you already have to make unique cards.
Later, I will have some alternative cards with the May Paper Pumpkin kit. This month’s kit and Add On kit were just what I was looking for to make Father’s
Day, Graduation, and Birthday cards.
Next, I will show you how to get double the amount of cards that came in your May Paper Pumpkin kit.
If you haven’t subscribed to Paper Pumpkin yet, I would suggest you try it. The kits have just gotten better and better. You can buy just one month to try it or subscribe to more months for a better savings.
