I have had quite a few friends and family in need of get-well cards, due to surgeries.
There is always a go to stamp set I think of when I make these kind of cards and that’s Back on Your Feet #149385. It has just the right sayings and pictures that are sure to make your recipient smile.
I made today’s card with a little ribbon trick, I wanted to share with all of you.
I used the white 3/8″ Glittered Organdy ribbon #156408, that I am happy to say will be in our new Annual Catalog. I just received my catalog and was happy to see it return. You can do so many things with it, including coloring it.
I used my Flirty Flamingo Blend marker with the brush end and glided it along the ribbon to color it. Do it several times if you want it darker.
Then I took my paper snips and cut the ribbon in half and glued it to the middle of the white ribbon.
I also colored a small piece for the end of my saying tag. I used Granny Apple Green Blend marker for that. It gave the card just the right amount of sparkle.
This cute set is going to retire, but you can still get it now. Since it is on the Last Chance list, I wouldn’t wait. Products are as supplies last.
I will still be using this set, long after it retires. I absolutely love it!

Instructions: Cut Flirty flamingo 5-1/2″ X 8-1/2″ and score at 4-1/4″.
Cut Granny Apple Green piece 4″ X 5-1/4″.
Stamp the turtles all over the green piece with Granny Apple Green ink.
Cut a piece of white ribbon and attach to the back of the green piece with Stampin’ Seal.
Cut another piece of the white ribbon and take your Flirty Flamingo Blend marker and run the brush side across the ribbon to color it. Take your paper snips and cut it in half. Use liquid glue to attach to the middle of the white ribbon and attach the ends around the back with more Stamin’ Seal.
Use liquid glue to attach green piece to the card base.
Color a small piece of the white ribbon with your Granny Apple Green marker and run it along the ribbon to color it. Cut the piece in half.
Stamp the turtle in Black Memento ink on white cardstock. Color with the blend markers.
Cut out turtle with the layering circle dies and cut an Flirty Flamino piece with the scalloped die. Attach the two together with glue.
Add to the card using dimensionals at the top and bottom of the back of the circle so it straddles the ribbon.
Stamp the saying in Granny Apple Green ink and cut out with the Tailor made die.
Add your ribbon through the end hole and attach to the card with dimensionals.
Add three iridescent dots to the top left of the card.
