I have been looking at the cute tombstone boxes I ordered and wanted to do something different with them. Have you seen these adorable boxes on page 51 in our Mini catalog? Item #156486. I decided to cut out the front, like I saw done in our catalog, but then I thought it would be fun to have something to see through the window. So, I decided to make it like a diarama. This way after all the treats are gone, you still have a cute box to display.
Instructions: Select a top and bottom piece for your box.
Fold and assemble the bottom piece. Use the attached tape to secure the ends.
Cut a 2-1/4″ X 3-1/4″ piece of designer paper and glue to the inside of the box.
Use your larger formed die and make sure it is inside of the folds for your box, so when you assemble it, the ends don’t show through the window.
Cut a window sheet 2-1/2″ X 3-1/2″. Place a glue dot to the four corners and glue to the inside of the box.
Assemble the front of the box.
Cut a spider web and tree out of the black glimmer paper and attach with liquid glue.
Cut a fence out of Smoky Slate and attach with glue.
Stamp the saying in black memento ink on a piece of Old Olive cardstock and cut out with word die. Attach to the bottom of the box with mini glue dots.
Cut out a piece of Pumpkin Pie using the smallest scalloped circle die.
Stamp the spider in black memento ink on a piece of basic white cardstock. Punch out with 3/4″ punch or smallest circle die. I used a retired punch, so use what you have.
Atttach the pieces using a dimensional.
Add some of the cute stars to the top right of the box.
Add candy.
