I had some friends that gave me little gifts before I left, so I needed to make some thank you notes. I immediately reached for my Coming Home bundle #155144. I had not cracked it open yet, but I wanted to give them a new Home/Fall card. So I came up with this one. We have a red Mini Cooper and even though the car is not a Cooper, it’s close enough.
You can easily take this layout and make it a Christmas card with a few minor changes. I love this bundle. It is so versatile. It’s great for new home, Christmas, Fall, Halloween, Realtors, etc.
For all the supplies and directions read on. You can see I used a few more stamp sets and dies to complete this card.
Instructions: Cut thick Whisper White cardstock 5-1/2″ X 8-1/2″ and score at 4-1/4″.
Cut Granny Apple Green Cardstock using the die from the bundle to make the yard.
Stamp the houses using Black Memento ink and color with the Blend markers. Cut out with matching dies.
Stamp the trees in Cinnamon Cider ink.
Attach the houses with dimensionals.
Cut out pumpkins from the Trio of Tags dies and punch a small Daffodil circle to glue behind the pumpkins. I used a retired 3/8″ punch. You can also use a hole punch.
Attach the pumpkins with glue dots.
Stamp the saying in Cinnamon Cider ink on Whisper White and cut out using the die from the Little Treat Bos Dies. Attach with a dimensional.
Stamp the car with Memento ink on Whisper White. Color with red Blend and cut with matching die from the bundle. Attach with a dimensional.
Cut out two black bats using the Celebration Labels Dies. Attach to the card with a glue dot.
Stamp the saying on the inside of the card from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamps in Cinnamon Cider ink. Stamp the pumpkins in the lower right of the inside of the card, from the Gather Together stamps in Pumpkin Pie ink.
