Instead of using a lot of cardstock to make this card, I have used a card base and covered it with some of the beautiful poppies. I used a smaller piece for the front of the card and cut some more of the beautiful paper. I stamped the inside with the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamps. It says “Your friendship means the world to me”. It sure does. On the outside I stamped “The World Needs More of You”. I hope she will treasure the sentiment as much as the card.
Instructions: Cut Whisper White cardstock 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″
Cut Designer Paper 4″ X 5-1/4″ Adhere to card base with Snail adhesive.
Cut Old Olive piece 3″ X 4-1/2″.
Cut White piece 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ and score at 2-3/4″. Cut 1/2″ off one side.
Cut Designer paper 2-1/4″ X 4-1/4″. Cut another piece 1/2″ X 4-1/4″ and add to the inside of the card with adhesive.
Cut ribbon and secure ends on the back of the designer piece with Snail.
Add the Designer piece to the Old Olive piece with more adhesive.
Tie a bow and attach to the ribbon with a glue dot.
Stamp saying in Old Olive ink on the 1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock that was cut off the front of the card. Flag the end with paper snips. Add glue dots and slide saying under the ribbon.
Stamp saying inside the card with Old Olive ink.
Attach the Old Olive piece to the card base with dimensionals
