Here is a card I designed for you today. Have you seen the cute Birthday Bonanza Suite on page 33 of our new Mini Catalog? I think this suite is the cutest in the whole catalog. It has adorable Designer Paper and a bundle set with stamps and matching dies to cut them out. You can also cut out balloons, banners and it also has cute tiny pom poms for the birthday hats.
Another part of the suite is the Daffodil Delight Ruched ribbon and 3 X 9 printed gusseted cellophane bags.
This suite is great for cute birthday cards and you can package those treats or gifts using the matching Designer paper. The back side to the paper has great neutral patterns for any time of year. The colors in the paper are Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Daffrodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody, Smoky Slate, Terracotta Tile and Whisper White.
When you order Designer paper, always look on the back for the coordinating colors. The coordination of colors for cardstock, ribbon and accessories has always been my favorite part of Stampin’ Up! products. It takes the guesswork out and gives you a polished look to your projects.
Here is a card I designed for you today. I am also using the new Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I love the scalloped edges on the rectangle dies.
Instructions:
Cut Bermuda Bay 4-1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5-1/2″
Cut Daffodil Delight 4′ X 5-1/4″
Cut Designer paper 3-3/4″ X 5″
attach all pieces with liquid glue.
Cut Whisper white using the Second largest Stitched So Sweetly dies. Sponge edges with Bermuda Bay ink using a sponge dauber. Attach to the card with dimensionals.
Stamp and cut out shapes with matching dies.
Stamp saying to the left and attach cut pieces to the scalloped piece with dimensionals.
Add twin to the balloon piece with a rolled piece of a glue dot. Attach the twine behind the balloon with a dimensional.
Add pom pom to the hat with a glue dot or dot of liquid glue.
