I had the honor last week of being inducted into the DAR. ( Daughters of the American Revolution). I come from a strong military background and still have nephews that are currently serving our Country. To say I am proud is an understatement.
I was also asked to be their February program after the meeting. We decided to make cards for the Veterans that have served and bring the cards up to Salisbury, where they have a gift shop. The Regent planned to put the cards in the gift shop so the Veterans can select a card and send them out to friends and family.
So I did not know if some have ever stamped before and maybe hoped a few had. I needed to keep the cards basic and did a lot of the work for them, so they just had to stamp and assemble. It was a great success. I have some pictures to share with you. I wished I would have remembered to take the picture while 25 of them were stamping, but I did manage to get a few at the end. They were all very pleased with their cards and excited to share them.
